About

I am Silvio — a Product Designer with 8+ years designing AI-powered products and enterprise platforms. The hard part usually isn't the interface — it's untangling a messy real-world workflow and making it make sense for the person using it every day.

More about me
Process

My design process.

A human-centered process built on the double-diamond — discover and define the right problem, then develop and deliver the right solution. AI speeds up synthesis and exploration along the way; the judgment stays mine.

I
Discover— research grounded in real behavior.
I start by understanding people, not screens — user interviews, stakeholder conversations, competitive analysis, and workflow mapping to see how people actually work today and where it breaks down. I use AI to help synthesize interview notes and cluster patterns faster, but the questions, the conversations, and the interpretation stay mine.

II
Definethe right problem before any UI.
Research becomes a clear problem statement, personas, and jobs-to-be-done — then an information architecture the whole team can align behind. This is where scope gets set. Getting the problem right here saves everyone from re-solving it later.

III
Develop— diverge, then converge on a direction.
I diverge into multiple concepts, wireframe the strongest paths, and build interactive prototypes — extending the design system as I go so the work stays consistent at scale. AI helps me explore more directions and draft components faster; deciding what actually solves the problem is still a design call, not an algorithmic one.

IV
Deliver— validate before it ships.
Usability testing, heuristic evaluation against Nielsen’s ten heuristics, A/B experiments, and accessibility audits (WCAG 2.2) tell me what’s actually working versus what I assumed would work. I’d rather find the problem in a test session than in production.

V
Launch& iterate on what actually happens.
I stay embedded through launch — clear specs and dev-ready tokens for engineering, then watching real usage and feedback to see what the data says versus what we predicted. The loop closes by feeding that back into the next Discover phase.

What people say
Silvio led the redesign of our entire AI-driven shopping experience. His thinking sits one layer above interface — he saw Clara as a relationship, not a chatbot. The work shipped on time and immediately moved revenue.
Cristiano MarquesHead of Digital · Claro Brazil
We hired Silvio to fix completion rates on Finclass. He came back with a re-architecture of the whole learning journey. Forty-two percent lift. He is the rare designer who treats research, IA and craft as one motion.
Igor LimaCPO · Finclass
Silvio took our Watson personalization output and turned it into something a shopper would actually feel. Engagement jumped 62%. He is fluent in AI as a material, not just a feature.
